Shri Prashant Kumar Shahi
, Hon’ble Advocate General, Bihar, was born on 3rd July 1955. He completed his Bachelor of Laws (L.L.B.) from the prestigious Banaras Hindu University in the year 1979. He was enrolled as an advocate with the State Bar Council of Bihar in 1980 and began his legal practice in various courts across the country.
In year 1990, Shri Shahi at the age of 35 was appointed as the youngest Government Pleader of Bihar. He further served as the Senior Standing Counsel for the Government of India in 2002.
